Brian has been crowned the winner of Big Brother 8 after polling 60.3% of the to-win vote. Sam and Amanda, meanwhile, have been named as the runners-up.

On hearing the news, Brian broke down in tears. He hugged the screaming twins tightly telling them: "Come here!"

Astounded by his victory, Brian repeatedly muttered: "Oh my days!" He modestly told the twins: "I can't believe I've won. I don't deserve it."

Comforting the tearful victor, the twins replied in unison: "Yeh you do, 100-per-cent." A blubbering Brian informed the twins that he was "glad" it was the twins that finished with.

In the vestibule, the twins shouted through the doors: "Well done Brian!"

The pair walked up the main house steps hand-in-hand. When the main doors opened, they squealed, clapped their hands and jumped up and down as they lapped up their warm reception from the crowd.
